About us

In response to growing activity in the classic car world a new club for classic car enthusiasts in Andalucia was formed in 2008

The ‘Classic and Sports-Car Club of Andalucia’ was formed in September 2008 and now has near 400 full members with more applying every day, making it by far the most successful Classic and Sports-Car Club in the area and, probably, in Spain.

The ‘Classic and Sports-Car Club of Andalucia’ is a members club to which membership is limited. However, qualification for membership is simple and is open to classic and sports-car enthusiasts that enjoy driving through the beautiful Andalucian countryside, travelling to unique restaurants and interesting destinations whilst enjoying good food and wines and, more important, good company! The club is very much for classic and sports-car ‘users’ and ‘drivers’ and is proud of that.

The Chairman of the ‘Classic and Sports-Car Club of Andalucia’ is classic-car rally-driver Ian Giles. He and his formidable team had the vision to found this club as there is no other in the area that has similar aims or such a varied and well organised programme of events. Our impressive calendar is usually full and it includes regular monthly club meetings. The first Tuesday of every month sees a club lunch at ‘La Sierra’ Restaurante in Cerros del Aguila, Mijas Costa where members and their guests can enjoy an excellent social lunch with like-minded, fellow enthusiasts. There will always be a classic and sports-car ‘Run’ on the Saturday following the Tuesday club lunch.

Special events will be held on numerous occasions throughout the year and these include a ‘Summer ball’, a Summer BBQ and picnic, a Concours d’elegance, Karting and Track Days, Trips to F1 at Jerez, a Burns Night dinner, Numerous Parties especially at Christmas, Three and 5 -Day Classic Car Tours and much, much more.

Multi-day runs are often planned throughout the year, taking in lots of different parts of Spain using superb hotels and restaurants, amazing roads and countryside and all at exceptional low prices, giving outstanding value for money. Other week-end runs will also take place as the year progresses.

Enthusiasts from many European countries have already signed up bringing such classics as AC Cobras, Mercedes Sports, MG’s, several Jaguar E-Types, Morgans, Bentleys, Triumphs and Sunbeams. American classics are also in the club including a stunning, original Corvette, a rare Shelby 500GT and a Shelby Cobra. Two members have collections, each with some 50 classics so variety is assured

If you would like more information about club events and membership, please e-mail us at csccspain@gmail.com. A warm welcome awaits members new and old at our regular club lunches held on the first Tuesday of every month at Restaurante La Sierra. Aim to arrive around 2.00pm for lunch at 2.30pm.
